Partner and Lawyer
Nicole Kien together with Cees de Vroomen set up KienLegal Plc. in 2001 after having worked as a lawyer with Pels Rijcken & Drooglever Fortuijn, the former Trenité van Doorne and DPA Holding Plc.. Nicole Kien is one of the top lawyers occupied with Health Care and laid the foundation for the successful development of KienLegal Plc.. She appears in print quite often gives many lectures to divers groups including refresher courses and training.

As a legal advisor, Judith van der Meer has been an essential part of KienLegal Plc.. During the last couple of years, she has gained extensive knowledge of general health care law and pharmaceutical law. As a result, she has built a very busy consultancy helping patient organisations. She often gives lectures (transparency congress) and managed all the work KienLegal Plc. does for the Organisation for Honest Medication Service (Stichting Eerlijke Geneesmidelenvoorziening) and the Organisation Patient’s Needs for Compensation for Dietary Foods (Stichting Patiëntenbelang Vergoeding Dieetpreparaten). Judith will shortly be called to the bar.

Taco Schüsler arrived to strengthen the team in 2011. With his background in industrial economics, his knowledge of health care and health care law as well as his special study of competition law and market planning he has become an indispensable member if the KienLegal Plc. legal team and will soon be called to the bar.

Priscilla Tjien-Fooh joined KienLegal Plc. in August 2011. She too has made health care law her special field of expertise. Within KeanLegal Plc., she mostly carries out the work associated with the Organisation for Honest Medication Service (Stichting Eerlijke Geneesmidelenvoorziening) and the Organisation Patient’s for Compensation for Dietary Foods (Stichting Patientenbelang Vergoeding Dieetpreparaten).
