SSBP Socially Sound Business Practices

For the last 5 years, KienLegal Plc. has carried out all the legal work for and given support to the Organisation for the Provision of Decent Medicines (Stichting Eerlijke Geneesmiddelenvoorziening) and the Organisation for Patient Compensation for Dietary Foods (Stichting Patientenbelang Vergoeding Dieetpreparaten). KienLegal Plc. has set up an telephonic helpline for people who need legal help if they have a problem with obtaining compensation for and the supply of (expensive) medication or diet foods. The help desk tariffs have been kept low (socially acceptable) and the desk is open on every working day.

During the last couple of years KienLegal’s staff have handled thousands of files. Most of the patients who contacted the help desk could be helped. KienLegal Plc. staff is proud of the fact that they have been able to use their special expertise and efforts to help both of these organisations in a socially acceptable way that has made a difference to the lives of many people.
